It’s here: surgery day. Jarrod and I are on the way to UNC Hospital.
I’m feeling alright. Definitely nervous, but as I’ve said before, ready to get moving on to a better life.
I’m also feeling a little overwhelmed by the support I’ve seen over the past 24 hours and weeks. I can’t even express how much all of your comments and messages and prayers have meant to me. All I can say for now is thank you.
I’m not sure how I’ll be feeling over the next few days, but I’ll do my best to keep everyone updated.
