Reset and recharge

This has been an off week for me. I haven’t felt like doing much. Actually, that’s not entirely true.
I think I started off this week feeling tired and just generally a little run down. But there were a couple of big things that I had going on this week, too, and I think I just put all that I had left into those couple of things, which didn’t leave much for the rest.
I have not been very focused at work this week and am paying for it now that it’s Friday and I am having to catch up. I have hardly spent any time with my friends this week. I basically have hardly left the house this week and while I’ve been there, I haven’t been very productive.
I think I have just worn myself a little thin recently. I’ve been working a lot of overtime as well as the past couple of Saturdays and I have been getting up a 5 a.m. to workout and I guess I forgot to just to take care of myself. So this week has been getting caught up. Thankfully, I have the full weekend off, so even though I’ll be travelling to Charlotte tomorrow, I’m hoping to be able to recharge get back on track.
I apologize if I haven’t responded to you promptly this week. I try my best to stay connected with those I meet online and not to let emails or messages fall by the wayside. I’m usually religious about checking my email and my stats and any posts or comments, but I have hardly even pulled up those pages this week. But I’m getting back into it, so I will be following up. I guess it’s about time to come out of my hole.

Take care of yourself. There is only one of you! It’s easy to over do things when we feel good. Then we are reminded that we are not superhuman. Take it easy and take it one day at a time.

Thank you, Dawn. Yes, I sometimes forget that I just can’t do it all. I’m trying to learn how to say “No” when appropriate, but am still not that great at it.
